The work produced is an example of the MCA. The Multiple Centrality Assessment is a tool that measures different types of centrality and outputs the results graphically. Four types of centrality exist: closeness, betweeness, straightness, and local closeness. Through the MCA, the vehicular and pedestrian network of Cumnock were assessed, and then further analyzed to identify areas for improvement. The work provided includes an explanation of networks, an in-depth analysis of the current pedestrian and vehicular networks in Cumnock, the analysis and results of the conceptual scenarios, and suggestions on how to improve centrality-specific to Cumnock.
