Our vision is a North Quarter that knits seamlessly into the existing urban fabric that surrounds it.
The M8 is made permeable at strategic points to draw people North. Wider Glasgow green networks are continued throughout and public spaces are cleverly linked. A newly restored canal becomes the spine of this new quarter. Commercial activity and residential dwellings served by quality amenities will animate Port Dundas. A complete overhaul of Sighthill Park will provide much-needed urban green space for the North and valuable eco-system services for Glasgow. Spiers Wharf is a new cultural destination where the city’s celebrated creative institution are housed, with performance art and music woven through the urban fabric.
