The Milnbank Housing Association has comissioned UDSU the elaboration of the “Haghill/Milnbank Spatial Development Framework”. A challenging task indeed which focuses on one of the most complex and multifaceted districts of the East End of Glasgow, where intertwined factors of spatial fragmentation, land abandonment and social exclusion have brought the district to a point of no-return. The project is set to delineate strategic lines of action for the spatial development of the Haghill district towards objectives of environmental, social and economic regeneration. Delivery expected by end of March 2011.
