East (End) Start

Within a time-frame of 30 years, this proposal aims to reconnect Carlton within itself as the area has been left fractured by the fall of industry and the scars left from abandoned railways. By reconnecting these fractures Calton will have the framework to flourish and in turn this will reconnect High Street closer to centre of town as it once was, as opposed to forming an edge to the city. With increases to population, jobs, ethnic diversity, housing, life expectancy and quality of life, this proposal aims to make the east end the start to the east
